— WWE is going ahead with having Becky Lynch face off against Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown women’s title one-on-one even though initial reports suggested that this was a match that the company was eyeing for WrestleMania 36.
— It was stated in the latest Observer Newsletter that WWE now has a different women’s match planned for next year involving Lynch and it will be against neither Flair or Ronda Rousey. The one caveat is that if Rousey doesn’t get pregnant and wants to return in time for WrestleMania 36, a match against Becky isn’t out of the question, but it appears for now the company is proceeding with alternate plans.
