A recent report by Damian Hospital of medium.com has used statistics from YouGov in order to determine who are the most recognizable names in wrestling.
The ratings show the person voting a name and photo, with the voter being able to choose from a Thumbs Up, Neutral, Down or Never Heard Of.
From April 2018, between 4000-4500 votes were cast for the following names, giving an indication as to who is the most recognizable:
Hulk Hogan 95%
Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” 94%
John Cena 79%
Stone Cold Steve Austin 78%
“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey 68%
“Macho Man” Randy Savage 65%
Vince McMahon 63%
“Nature Boy” Ric Flair 62%
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper: 53%
Dusty “The American Dream” Rhodes 49%
Triple H 49%
Chris Jericho 47%
Linda McMahon 47%
Brock Lesnar: 40%
Jerry “The King: Lawler: 38%
Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka: 37%

Hospital did mention that countless wrestlers were not featured on the YouGov website, including major names like Andre The Giant and The Undertaker.

The Boss, Sasha Banks posted an image on Twitter of herself and Titus Worldwide with WWE Hall Of Famer, Koko. B. Ware, with a quote of advice he gave them. Ware told them, “Never give up on yourself.”
