23-year-old Spanish right-back Pol Lirola has signed for Ligue 1 side Marseille on loan until the end of the season with a reported €11.5m option to buy from Serie A outfit Fiorentina.
Lirola underwent a medical with Marseille and passed on Monday – Lirola is a very attacking full-back and numerically replaces Bouna Sarr, who left for Bayern Munich at the end of the summer window.
