Kenny King, Jushin Liger & More Announced For Honor Rumble At G1 Supercard

Ring Of Honor has announced a special Honor Rumble match for the pre-show of their upcoming G1 Supercard event next weekend.

In the latest installment of his regular ROHWrestling.com article, Eck’s Files, ROH website writer Kevin Eck announced that there will be an Honor Rumble match featuring wrestlers from both New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring Of Honor.

Already announced for the match are Kenny King, PJ Black, The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser & Brian Milonas), Cheeseburger and Jushin Thunder Liger. Eck also teased “several surprises” in the match.

From Eck’s Files at ROHWrestling.com:

“ROH has announced the first set of participants for the Honor Rumble, which takes place on the G1 Supercard pre-show. They are: Kenny King, PJ Black, The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser and Brian Milonas) and Cheeseburger. New Japan Pro-Wrestling previously announced that the legendary Jushin “Thunder” Liger will be in the Rumble.

I’m told there will be several surprises in the Rumble, including one competitor who has had numerous matches at Madison Square Garden and even defended a world title there.”

The Honor Rumble is a Royal Rumble-style battle royal match that will air on the G1 Supercard pre-show, which begins at 6:30 p.m. EST. leading into the big event.
