Gianluigi Donnarumma to make Champions League debut against Manchester City

Sky Sport Italia report this afternoon that Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is set to make his Champions League debut tomorrow, against Manchester City.

The Euro 2020 winner has largely been kept out of the PSG starting eleven by current number one Keylor Navas since his arrival this summer, with his lack of playing time raising eyebrows particular among the Italian press. The 22-year-old has made two league appearances so far during his short time in the French capital, as he looks to dethrone Navas.

Nevertheless, Mauricio Pochettino appears to have given the former Milan man the nod to face Pep Guardiola’s men, as Les Parisiens look to bounce back from their draw in Bruges with a win against the side that knocked them out of the competition at the semi-final stage last year.
