The WWE Battleground “go-home” edition of WWE SmackDown drew a final rating of 1.63, down a sizable amount compared to last week’s 1.69 final cable rating.
Thursday’s SmackDown (July 16, 2015) averaged only 2.153 million viewers, which was also down from last week’s average of 2.388 million viewers, despite the fact that it was a rare night where WWE didn’t have any major sports competition.
For comparisons sake, the July 18, 2014 edition of WWE SmackDown delivered a 1.95 cable rating with an average of 2.885 million viewers.
