THE USOS (c) vs. THE NEW DAY vs. RUSEV/AIDEN ENGLISH vs. CHAD GABLE/SHELTON BENJAMIN
Xavier Woods is out feeding pancakes to the audience while his partners get ready for battle. Rusev and English get a MASSIVE reaction and “Rusev Day” chant, and English even gets a cheer for an encore after he sung his entire 12 Days of Rusev song.
Crazy action right from the start as all four teams start going at it, throwing bodies left and right. Jimmy Uso dives over the ropes to take out two of them, leaving the New Day in the ring to stand running a Unicorn Stampede on everyone remaining. Rusev hit a brutal superkick that rocked Kofi Kingston, leading to yet another loud “Rusev Day” chant. The referee finally gets things under control, and I’m just realizing that there are four men legal at all times with four on the outside – what kind of new age black magic is this ruling!?
Benjamin and Gable start throwing stiff knee strikes to everyone they can get their hands on. Kingston with a superkick out of nowhere that completely leveled Gable, and in comes Big E to start throwing around grown men like they’re weightless. He hits a running splash at the same time as Jey Uso hits a diving splash, and they make pin attempts simultaniously but both opponents kick out. This four-way rules change is madness. Gable returns and cleans house, trapping Jey in the Texas Cloverleaf. Kingston tries to make the save but Benjamin destroys him with a T-Bone suplex. English from the other side breaks the submission and hits a powerbomb for two-and-a-half. The crowd wanted that to be it.
Rusev makes the tag to the biggest pop of the night and starts kicking away at the back of Chad Gable, before locking in The Accolade! He’s almost got it won but Big E breaks it up and gets the big man on his shoulders. New Day thinking Midnight Hour but English throws Kingston of the top rope. Superkick to Big E! 1…2…no. The Bulgarian Brute is all kinds of fired up, sinking The Accolade on Big E this time. The four-time tag team champion tries to power his way up, but fades out and this looks to be over. Gable out of nowhere with a high angle German suplex, deadlifting Rusev for a huge slam! English takes a German! Kingston takes a German! Gable is losing his mind! Superkick from Jimmy Uso, followed immediately by a second superkick. Jey off the top with a super fly splash. 1….2…3.
