On Thursday afternoon, as promised, Vince McMahon made a “major sports announcement.”
McMahon hosted a live press conference at AlphaEntLLC.com and announced that in 2020, as expected, the XFL will be returning.
Vince claimed that the time was right and that while there is still plenty to be figured out, because they have two years to do so, they plan on doing things right this time around.
McMahon revealed that the league will consist of eight teams with 40-man rosters playing a 10-game season, complete with a post-season and championship game.
