The Rock appeared at Spike TV’s “upfront” event on Tuesday and announced that he and his ex-wife Dani Garcia’s $7 Bucks Productions is partnering with Spike TV.
$7 Bucks will produce programming from live events, specials, sports and initiatives surrounding troops and veterans.
Spike TV also unveiled their rebranding, including a new logo and tagline (“The Ones To Watch”).
The network is shifting away from targeting young males and is looking to attract a broader demographic that includes females. Spike’s new image is one of the factors that led them to not renewing TNA’s TV deal.
