Spike Trivet Takes Shot At Jimmy Havoc, PROGRESS Chapter 71 Today, PROGRESS Reflects On Download Show

Ahead of today’s PROGRESS Wrestling Chapter 71 event, Spike Trivet has taken a shot online at his opponent, Jimmy Havoc, ahead of their death match.

Havoc and Trivet will compete today in Sheffield in a death match, a stipulation that Havoc has become known for, but that doesn’t appear to be worrying Trivet as he slammed Havoc on Twitter this morning.

Trivet responded to a post online who showed a package of chairs that have been delivered for Havoc, with Trivet stating that they are for him to sit on to rest his washed up, tired legs.

Yeah take a seat and rest those tired, old, worn out, crackly, washed up, has been, nobody cares anymore, bleeds for a hotdog, nostalgia act, every day you get out of bed is another waste, end it now knees 👍🏻 @ThisIs_Progress https://t.co/h1u2hwNKfO

The company also reflected on a show they put on at Download Festival several years ago, sharing an image from the day. Since PROGRESS’ appearance at the festival, NXT has taken the slot in recent years, including this year where it is hosting the first round of the WWE UK Championship tournament.

On this day in 2015: PROGRESS staged its first show at @DownloadFest as part of a five-night slate of shows. @JimmyHavoc, @WWEAleister and @MartyScurll were among those who appeared. pic.twitter.com/5tjXvt4uZE
