Speaking to reporters after tonight’s 3-1 victory over AS Monaco, PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi reacted to the club’s 8th title win.
“We feel the same joy and the same pride each time that we win a title as prestigious as the French championship. Ligue 1 is an important competition in a country at the summit of world football since last summer. To say that is enough to show the great importance which we attach always to the titles we win in this truly great footballing nation: France. I congratulate and I am proud of my players, the manager, the staff and all the forces at PSG that work non-stop to grow the club.
