NXT TV Preview (6/6): Sane & Evans Collide In Highly Personal Rubber Match

WWE returns to the WWE Network this evening from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida for the latest episode of NXT TV.

WWE.com released the following preview for tonight’s show:

WWE NXT preview, June 6, 2018: Sane and Evans collide in highly personal rubber match

Kairi Sane and Lacey Evans will look to settle their multi-month conflict when they face off in their rubber match Wednesday night on WWE NXT. Which Superstar will make major strides in the NXT Women’s division by clinching the all-important win?

Kairi Sane and Lacey Evans to settle the score in rubber match

With each Superstar holding a victory over the other, Kairi Sane and Lacey Evans will square off in a rubber match tonight on WWE NXT to find out who truly has the edge.

Sane first defeated Evans on April 11 with her signature InSane Elbow Drop. However, that loss did not sit well with The Lady of NXT and prompted her to antagonize and assault Kairi until getting a rematch on the May 23 edition of WWE NXT, which Evans won with her vicious knockout punch, the Women’s Right.

Which Superstar will score the decisive blow against her bitter rival? Find out tomorrow night, only on WWE Network!

Roderick Strong and Danny Burch face off prior to tag bout at TakeOver

With Undisputed ERA putting their NXT Tag Team Titles on the line against Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan at NXT TakeOver: Chicago on Saturday, June 16, Burch and Roderick Strong will collide in singles action tonight on WWE NXT.

Burch scored the most meaningful win of his NXT career weeks ago when he led Lorcan and WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne to victory against Undisputed ERA in a Six-Man Tag Team match. Will Burch capitalize on his big win and follow up with another impressive victory against Strong? And how will Lorcan and the rest of Undisputed ERA affect this contest?

Does Nikki Cross have Shayna Baszler shook?

NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler retained her title with a victory over Dakota Kai last week, but she suffered a post-match beatdown courtesy of Nikki Cross. NXT’s twisted sister stopped Shayna’s attack on Kai after the bout and challenged her to an impromptu and unofficial match, which Cross “won” after Kai administered the three-count.

The unhinged Cross then began to celebrate with the NXT Women’s Championship, seemingly believing she was the champion. She isn’t, of course, but the wild display certainly suggests that Cross is eying the top prize in the NXT Women’s division. Will The Queen of Spades have a response for Cross tonight on NXT?

Tommaso Ciampa will appear live to address his TakeOver: Chicago Street Fight against Johnny Gargano

Johnny Gargano bolted into Full Sail Live last Wednesday to make it known that he is moving full steam ahead toward his Street Fight against Tommaso Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. Despite the incredible amount of damage he has taken at Ciampa’s hands and his wife Candice LeRae’s well-known objections, Gargano will tie up again with Ciampa in the same city where their partnership dissolved last year.

This week, the NXT Universe will hear directly from Ciampa about TakeOver: Chicago’s hotly anticipated grudge match. What’s going through the mind of the psychotic Blackheart as this pivotal rematch approaches? Tune in tonight on the award-winning WWE Network to see.

Will TM61 continue to show off their new aggressive streak?

TM61’s recent shift in attitude has not gone unnoticed by the NXT Universe. Whether it be cutting corners to obtain victories or vocalizing their disdain for the rest of NXT’s tag teams, Nick Miller & Shane Thorne have adopted a win-at-all-costs mantra. Will the Aussie duo continue their rule-breaking ways as they suit up for tag team competition? Find out tonight as WWE NXT streams on the award-winning WWE Network.
