During a stroll on a mud track at Jhalana Forest Reserve — which was made into a leopard safari park on March 2017 — a stray dog who stays at a temple inside the forest not only managed to survive a leopard attack unhurt, but also pushed away the two-year-old leopard back into the bushes on Tuesday morning.
The entire episode was filmed by a group of tourists who were on a safari inside the park and had stopped their vehicle on the track number 2 (between Panther Jhopa and Kaali Mata Temple) on sighting the leopard — christened ‘Juliet’ by local guides — by the bush.
“It was barely some minutes since our vehicle came to a halt on the track on sighting the leopard. We were excited at our luck but didn’t realize that more adventure was in store for us,” said Ved Prakash, driver of the gypsy carrying the tourists.
