Heel Turn Tonight On Smackdown Live Breaks Up Tag Team – Says “The Landscape Has Changed”
As was seen tonight on SmackDown Live, Hype Brothers teammate Mojo Rawley turned heel and attacked his now former partner, Zack Ryder.
The former Hype Bros had a matchup against the Bludgeon Brothers, and were utterly destroyed by Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. After the match, Charly Caruso interviewed the losing team, and asked Ryder what the current state of their team is. Ryder said that the landscape has changed, and last year they were contending for the WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships, but this year they have now hit rock bottom.
It was in that moment that Mojo Rawley clubbed Ryder from behind, sending Ryder to the mat and then proceeded to relentlessly beat down his former bro, leaving the Long Island Iced Z laying. Rawley yelled out at Ryder that the “Hype Bros Are Dead!”
After the match, Rawley was interviewed backstage and said that the landscape has indeed changed.
