According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former WWE star and current Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling Star John Morrison has reached out to New Japan Pro Wrestling and expressed interest in working for the promotion.
One factor that might prevent Morrison from signing with New Japan, and has prevented him from doing so in the past, is NJPW’s working relationship with CMLL. NJPW has avoided working with AAA talents in the past due to its relationship with CMLL, but The Observer notes NJPW might be relaxing its stance on not booking AAA talents.
