Portuguese superagent Jorge Mendes is seeking to place 19-year-old French youth international left-back Rayan Aït Nouri at Manchester United, who continue to be in the market in this position, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News.
The player’s current club, Angers, have already prepared for the teenager’s departure, having made the signings of both Souleyman Doumbia from Rennes and Enzo Ebosse from Le Mans in his position earlier on in the summer.
It is understood that this attempt by Mendes is unlikely to be successful, as Manchester United have concerns over the Ait Nouri’s lack of European experience as they seek to make a definitive upgrade to their existing options in the position.
As reported earlier this summer, Mendes has been fixated on moving the teenager to the Premier League, having worked on a deal with Crystal Palace in January, only for it to be scuppered by the youngster suffering from a major jaw injury.
