According to F4WOnline.com, Colt Cabana indirectly mentioned the recent lawsuit he filed against CM Punk on his “Art of Wrestling” podcast. Cabana noted that the entire situation really stressed him out when news of the lawsuit went public, and that he is looking forward to the whole thing being over. Cabana added that he will likely not speak about the lawsuit further until it is over.
For those unaware, Cabana, real name Scott Colton, filed suit against Punk, real name Phillip Brooks, at the beginning of the month in a Cook County Circuit Court for “breach of contract” and “fraud” over unpaid legal fees, stemming from their lengthy and expensive battle against Dr. Amann.
It’s also worth noting Cabana denied existing rumors that his friendship with CM Punk ended because Cabana appeared backstage at a recent WWE event. Cabana went on to clarify that he has not been backstage at a WWE event since 2013 when he did a podcast with then-WWE star Hornswoggle.
