The inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions arrived on RAW this Monday night after a hard-fought Elimination Chamber match, in which they not only survived, but outlasted five other teams to win the gorgeous new white and gold title belts.
In an emotional speech, Bayley and Sasha Banks — collectively known as the Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection — discussed making their dreams come true this Sunday in Houston, and how they plan on remaining champions for a very long time to come.

In an interesting move, The Boss also mentioned that they were planning on defending the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against any and all comers, including teams from RAW, Smackdown Live and… the NXT brand!?
Whether Banks simply misspoke or got a bit ahead of herself, or if WWE really does have plans to bring the new titles to the black-and-yellow brand, it would appear they’ll have to wait before doing anything. The first team to lay claim to contendership, Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka, hit the ring this Monday night to plead their case. While they failed to take out the champions, and were in fact quickly dispatched, we could be looking at the first title match for next month’s upcoming WWE Fastlane pay-per-view.
