Alberto Del Rio reportedly signed a new deal with a $1,450,000 per year downside, with a reduced schedule. This is higher than what WWE typically offers upper-level talents.
Del Rio is still the AAA Mega Champion and remains on good terms with the promotion. AAA was disappointed about the situation, but Del Rio will be working more dates for AAA as part of his unique contract with WWE.
AAA has announced Del Rio for 7 events in November and he will be able to fulfilled most of those dates, since WWE is going overseas to Europe for most of next month.
AAA is under the impression that Del Rio would be working the November 2nd show in Nuevo Laredo instead of WWE RAW in Denver, this coming Monday.
