Arsenal are hopeful of concluding an agreement with Lyon tomorrow for the signing of attacker Alexandre Lacazette.
Contrary to reports in England, no deal has been struck between the two clubs in practice, but there is a mutual understanding and agreement in principle to reach a deal imminently after Alexandre Lacazette having decided to join the London side.

Lyon President Aulas revealed to Le Progrès that he was hoping for a deal worth €50m, but it is L’Équipe’s understanding that OL are still holding out for an agreement that is worth up to €60m when all bonuses are accounted for.
Several meetings are arranged for tomorrow between all three parties, including a meeting between President Aulas and Alexandre Lacazette, in the hope of realising a total agreement.
If everything goes well tomorrow in terms of reaching a working agreement and the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed, then Alexandre Lacazette will receive permission to fly to London to undergo a medical, which, at the time of writing, seems most likely to occur on Wednesday.
