PSG and Arsenal are in negotiations to sign German international Julian Draxler from Wolfsburg this January, according to our colleagues atRMC.
PSG are in direct talks with the Bundesliga side and are set to make an opening offer imminently worth€30m.
Arsenal are also in the race, and are in talks with Julian Draxler’s entourage, according to a Tweet put out by the reporter behind the story, Mohamed Bouhafsi.
The report also states that Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Özil is pushing very hard behind the scenes to make the North London club sign Draxler next month. RMC state that Arsenal are preparingto lodge a€35m offer.
Wolfsburg are asking for€40m from all interested parties and are ready to sell the player after Draxler made it clear that he wants to leave.
