Angers SCO have today completed the signing of midfielder Dorian Bertrand from French third division side SO Cholet, understood to be for a fee of €200k.
The 25-year-old, who has played the last five seasons with Cholet, has signed a two-year contract in a move that marks a return to the Stade Raymond Kopa for Bertrand, who previously played for the club in the 2013/14 season.
The Réunion-born attacking midfielder scored six goals last season in an impressive campaign that saw him voted as the “player of the season” in the Championnat National.
Angers are understood to have beaten off Guingamp and Metz for the signature of Bertrand.
