Mediapart report that FC Nantes President Waldemar Kita is being prosecuted for aggravated tax fraud and is personally suspected of evading paying €14.8m in wealth tax.
As part of the police investigation currently being conducted into Kita’s dealings, the authorities seized his yacht and other items in between February and April. A property in Paris belonging to Waldemar Kita and Chantal Kita was also seized.
The outlet also reports that Kita has between 2010 and 2019 earned at least €70m through Luxembourg, on which he has paid no income tax in France on, because of his tax residency in Belgium.
